This piece was a direct tribute to the “Mother Nation”. According to researchers the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia. To think if you could speak with the mother of creation what would you say? What would you ask her? What do you think she would feel with the status of her human kind today? To me this piece embodies my interpretation of her response.

The US was spared but I felt no victory because on September 1-3 Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas as a Category 5 hurricane. This disaster caused mass destruction on the northwest islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama. Dorian killed almost 75 people and people with 245 people still missing. In addition to the lives loss almost 29,500 people were left homeless according to Relief web (https://reliefweb.int/report/bahamas/facts-hurricane-dorian-s-devastating-effect-bahamas)
